The iSEA Conference 2025, hosted by Monash University Malaysia and the Imaging Southeast Asia (iSEA) Bioimaging Community, marks a significant milestone in uniting the Southeast Asian imaging community. This inaugural event will highlight iSEA’s regional vision in advancing the future of bioimaging through unified training programs, shared infrastructure access, data management solutions, a collaborative roadmap, and sustainable approaches to imaging facilities, infrastructures, and networks. It aims to foster collaboration and innovation while addressing common challenges, ultimately strengthening the regional imaging landscape.
Leading up to the main event, a two-day pre-conference workshop will be held, followed by a dedicated outreach bioimaging program taking place the day after the conference.
Format & Location
This hybrid conference welcomes participants to join us in person at Monash University Malaysia or connect virtually from anywhere across ASEAN and beyond, offering flexible access for a truly inclusive experience.

Travel Support
iSEA offered a limited number of travel grants for successful applicants without institutional travel support to attend the joint iSEA Pre-Conference Workshop and iSEA Conference: Building Imaging Networks Across Southeast Asia.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the grants covered accommodation and travel expenses of up to MYR 1,500, awarded based on financial need.

Registration
Participation in the iSEA Conference is free of charge, but registration is required. Due to venue capacity, on-site attendance is limited to 250 participants. We encourage early registration for those planning to join us in person at Monash University Malaysia.
To foster connections within the community, light networking tea breaks and lunch will be provided for all registered participants. Kindly note that travel and accommodation arrangements are to be made individually, unless otherwise supported by the organiser.
